Again, "grifter or not" is irrelevant. His family was affected by a racist comment. Telling a family, "You didn't feel the correct way" is absurd. That is the bottom line.

I don't think my opinion regarding this is relevant in my overall point here. Right now, I see a man whose family was affected by a racist comment and people calling him a PoS because he didn't *publicly* handle it the way they wanted.

Either way, let's assume everything you said is 100% accurate, no nuance. That does not remove the fact his family is a victim of racism and it is still their decision on how to handle it.
For the sake of both of our kids? Grow up. Racist trolls on the internet, while offensive, don't threaten my kids. You know what does? A culture that denies grace to people who make mistakes. A culture that encourages congressmen to act like whiny children.

If your argument simply was, "As VP, he needs to come down harder on racists posts". Great. Valid opinion. Telling a family how they should react to racism towards them isn't.

Poor dude was so confused that he made 2 replies asking what you meant. He never heard from you. I had to assure him he was fine and explain your reaction was towards me.
