I almost forgot how frustrating youth baseball can be! I witnessed 10u-14u teams throwing pitchers 90+ pitches AND in some cases the coach throwing those kids in a later game again! 🤦♂️Parents, this is NOT OKAY! Speak up! Or better yet, play for someone who values your sons health

Question: do you think any college coach at any level has any idea what any travel teams record is?!
Answer: no! They need to find talented players that help them win games at the college baseball level...not travel baseball.

Thought for the day during this “wonderful” tryout period. The main goal for youth sports should be development on and off the field! If an org continually tries to “steal” players and teams that tells me they either can’t develop or don’t want to develop, neither is acceptable!

For every 15-17U parent who spent 1000s extra $ this summer in hotels traveling out of town every weekend to get recruited by power 5 schools because the summer coach “promised” it would happen, how many are committed...1-2%? Play for people who can make you better!

. Quick thought. I know there’s a lot of good baseball coaches out there and I’m biased but I feel we have some of the BEST coaches from top to bottom of anyone around. A couple former Pro Players, 3 College Coaches, 22 current or former college players. All with the SAME GOAL

Big shout out to our coaches for being responsible with our pitchers arms!!! Difficult to do but if you prioritize development and health over wins it can happen. We still won A LOT of games not overthrowing pitchers! We had some opponents throw 1 arm 100 pitches...unbelievable!
