Having witnessed 2 massive incidents as a sports spectator today - thank goodness both Christian Eriksen & Felix Rosenqvist are both otherwise OK - I can only be thankful for medical professionals, volunteers & safety teams for everything.

Today, we race for Mr. Ojjeh.
It is with deep sadness that McLaren Racing announces the death of Mansour Ojjeh, shareholder of McLaren since 1984.
Mr Ojjeh passed away peacefully this morning in Geneva, aged 68, surrounded by his family, to whom the team sends its most heartfelt condolences.

Real shocking, sad news - genuinely nice guy who we'll miss.
Every time Gil sees me (however briefly it may be), he'd make a point to say hi, shake hands + have a natter.
We last spoke in Vegas, amongst things his pride of his daughter performing at the Sao Paulo GP.
RIP Gil.
Everyone at McLaren Racing is shocked and deeply saddened to learn we have lost a beloved member of our McLaren family.
We send our deepest condolences to Gil de Ferran’s family, friends and loved ones.
