Our @CanonFodderNOLA Brass Band had such a blast today playing for our new friend Scott’s 40th birthday party. What a great group of family and friends to parade with. Mostly I’m thankful live music is back.

Our family currently owns 2 Jeeps & 2 Subarus & I couldn’t be happier about that. Michelle, Meagan, Quint & I took a drive to a Gretna. I felt like George Bailey running down Main Street but no one was on the streets, anywhere. Almost completely dead but for a few police cars.

I was born in WV but dad was in the military during my first few years & we moved around a bit. In 80 we moved to Kentucky. I lived in KY from then until 02 when Michelle & I moved to Louisiana. I recently realized that I’ve now lived in LA longer than I lived in KY. #mindblown

I’m so excited to start into this series through the book of James. I’ve preached through the whole NT in the 20+ years I’ve been at @FirstWego & this is the first “repeat” book. Last time through James was in 2013. Can’t wait to start unpacking this one this time around.
