@LucasRoarke @HLC_actual @elonmusk Zero experience in anything? Almost all of them have high level experience in engineering, analytics, and AI. They’re some of the brightest minds in America outside the system. This is *exactly* who we should be hiring to take a critical look at our data.

Just because they’re veterans doesn’t mean they do good or important work. The VA is an absolute disaster. They continually ignore my appointment requests and fuck up my records after I’ve corrected them. Multiple years of trying to get a simple appointment and there’s always another hoop to jump through. I shouldn’t be following up multiple times to get an evaluation. Something is desperately wrong in that system and it needs to be torn down to the studs.

That’s not how fraud investigations work. Data science is a valid method to detect fraud. It’s about identifying anomalies and patterns that fall outside of acceptable parameters. Statistical analysis doesn’t rely on subjective “job expertise”, that’s what interviews are for. I’ll let you guess what I do for a living; hint, I can justify it.
