@SwagMasta124 Preempt the situation by holding up to avoid low trajectory angles so you can avoid having to tech at all. Otherwise, hold shield rather than trying to time the tech for best success.

@Kong9Chunky Another thing-- you gotta pick up grenades with something other than f-tilt. It's too laggy and since grenades are on a timer it works against you. Short hop air dodge to catch aerial ones, or air dodge while landing to pick up grounded ones. Either that or run up and press A.

@Kong9Chunky Run up grounded Hand Slap if he just dropped a grenade on the floor. While it spawns and is still bouncing? gHS won't detonate it but can reach Snake. Also try to pick up partially cooked grenades and angle your shield towards Snake for better hitbox coverage when it explodes.

@mairuDonkey It works really well against Fox! Just keep in mind Fox is fast and safe enough to bait it out and punish so be sure to practice the correct times to use it. But it's definitely worth mastering and really good vs a ton of characters!
