4Louis is a reg charity that provides Memory boxes to hospitals in the UK, in aid of bereaved parents who have lost a child through stillbirth or neonatal death
On this day, 14 years ago, our world changed forever. A little boy named Louis came into our lives, bringing love and strength. Despite shattered expectations, he has touched many lives. Today, on his 14th birthday, we celebrate our inspiration and angel, Louis. Happy Birthday!
For mothers who have experienced baby loss, Mother's Day can bring reminders of the child never held, milestones missed, & love never shared. Our babies hold a special place in our hearts & are forever part of our lives & families. Today, we honor & support each other in grief.
Today we visited Sunderland Hospital to donate a cuddle cot to the neonatal unit. The unit was kindly funded by Blackpool couple Nat & Afton in memory of their son Alfyn and received by neonatal nurse Adele. Thank you for your support.

We are 10 today. We delivered our first 4Louis memory boxes to Sunderland Royal Hospital on this day 10 years ago. Thank you everyone who has supported us, we couldn’t have done this without you all x

Mother's Day is a time for celebration and appreciation, but for some, it can also be a difficult and painful reminder of loss. If you know a bereaved mum who may be struggling this Mother's Day, here are a few ideas to help show your support and let her know that she's not alone
Today we supplied our first delivery in response to the Covid 19 crisis. We were approached by the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Gateshead to see if we would consider supplying our wooden memory boxes to families affected by this horrible virus.

Thinking of The Duke & Duchess of Sussex as they have openly shared their loss of their little one. Miscarriage is a very taboo subject and effects 1 in 4 pregnancies. To share their grief and loss shows incredible strength.

In our mission to provide comfort and support, we made sure that our Memory Boxes included Certificates of Life, available for both Miscarriage, TFMR, and Stillbirth situations. We recognized the gap in acknowledgment for babies born before 24 weeks.
Another busy day with our normal deliveries to maternity and neonatal but also 120 memory boxes for families affected by Covid19. We have boxes going to North Tees, James Cook, Freeman, Cumberland hospital, Southport, Royal Preston and Warrington.

On International day of the midwife, let’s celebrate these truly amazing human beings. They not only bring life into the world but help us negotiate our way through our losses too. Let’s also remind ourselves but they also save lives when recognising problems. legends.

Today’s 10th anniversary photo is one of my favourite from our first visit to Louis’ memorial bench at Hardwick Hall. Kirsty and Bob are pictured leaving with a beam of light shining between them and landing on his bench

Grief is not a linear process; it's okay to feel a mix of emotions. Allow yourself to grieve, be it sadness, anger, or confusion. These emotions are natural and part of healing. Take your time, be kind to yourself, and remember that healing is a step-by-step journey. 💕

4Louis had a difficult decision to make when it came to choosing a teddy for their memory boxes.
Tracey was unhappy with the initial voting result of the bear as she loved the rabbits, but after some discussion and compromise, the team decided to order both the bear and rabbit.
Thank you so much to the family of Lillie-Anne Peart who raised an incredible £7000 which allowed two cuddle cots to be donated. One went to James Paget Hospital and the 2nd to the Neonatal Unit in Basildon.Well done to everyone who donated.
