@Gerashchenko_en @SecGenNATO Rutte is a dyed-in-the-wool warmonger. He does not want peace except on NATO's terms. While he claims to offer an olive branch, NATO members are conducting a campaign of provocation and piracy against Russian shipping in the Baltic and elsewhere. That looks like rank hypocrisy.

@EdwardJDavey Ed, are you just towing a narrative or do you genuinely believe what you say? This was NATO's war, and by NATO I mean the US State Department. Ukraine is an illegitimate regime driven by Nazis and US sponsorship. Why would Russia talk to it? Zelensky represents nobody.

@kajakallas @ABaerbock @sikorskiradek @KubiliusA @tripodimaria @DavidLammy @jnbarrot Ukraine independence is unconditional? But EU must be included in negotiations? Why? And why should Ukraine get an independence you deny to Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia and Georgia, where you meddle in elections and government? Are you confused or hypocritical?

@ivan_8848 How would it be different from now, when NATO is already attacking Russia? NATO is arming Ukraine, attacking Russian shipping, sanctioning Russia's economy, assisting Ukraine on the ground, so what will they do? Send in the Latvian army? Donate drones? Feeble.

@CazadorDeWulf @TheStudyofWar This level of analysis under the ISW banner is frankly pathetic. No link to reality, just unfounded assertions. Incompetent, even as propaganda.

@TheStudyofWar Amazing projection. Is ISW aware that Chancellor Merkel and others admitted that Minsk was always a delaying tactic to allow NATO to arm Ukraine? The cat is long out of the bag. The rest is blatant twaddle. If the West had reservations about Minsk they should not have signed it.

@MyLordBebo It's dangerous because EU nations clearly want full-blown war with Russia and are willing to provoke this by any means including false flags and propaganda about Russian "invasion". At some point there will be a violent incident in the Baltic as someone pirates Russian shipping.

@DennisMSwanson1 @RpsAgainstTrump @kristenmcknight It was intended to safeguard peace in Europe. It has failed. Repeatedly. It is an offensive, warmongering arm of the MIC. There is no reason to spend $billions of US taxpayers' cash on something obsolete. Britain certainly doesn't need it.

@DennisMSwanson1 @RpsAgainstTrump @kristenmcknight Tell the corpses that. It stopped being "simply a matter of will" with the catastrophic counter-offensive in 2023. I don't blame you for being badly informed, but try doing some research that doesn't involve BBC or NYT.

@DennisMSwanson1 @RpsAgainstTrump @kristenmcknight Why stay in a failed organisation that cannot reliably serve US interests but costs $billions a year to maintain? Less a strategic asset, more a dead cat.

@whig_party2 @RpsAgainstTrump Are all imperialists this thick? The point is, Russia already has control over Ukraine, despite everything US has done since 2014 and before. Hundreds of billions of $$ down the drain. Zero result. Worse than zero, the death of an entire generation of Ukrainians for US vanity.

@Megatron_ron Probably. It's called piracy. Unlike snagging undersea cables which is property damage. Any such policy would earn retaliation, probably in the form of air and navy escorts. And remember that attack on Russian-flagged shipping is attack on Russian sovereign territory.
