She told me their neighbours growing up in Kampala were Sikh.
Beta, she said, a Sikh family will always protect those around them. No harm will ever come to your home. She was right.

Tomorrow a 1/4 of the globe will fast from dawn to sunset so we can practise patience while hungry & thirsty. Gratitude & humility will increase when we are able to eat a meal after sundown. A month of forgiveness, love, and relentless pursuit of goodness. Ramadan Karim to all.
