@Lagerale Do you feel they were intentionally misleading people? What's the advantage in that? Delaying the announcement of PoE 1 delays only makes it worse, no advantage there. I think they were just being overly optimistic and inexperienced at handling 2 games.

@insanobrandon Nope, I'm not telling you that. I'm saying they hadn't had a team meeting yet and needed to lock in what their answer would be (how long their delaying, etc). They prob could have announced that there *would* be delays rushed at end of podcast is not really the way to do that.

@insanobrandon Perhaps, they probably suspected. But I imagine they hadn't had a meeting to discuss the final decision on that one 2 weeks ago during that podcast. That probably occurred afterwards. And you don't really make decisions on something like that live on air without consult team 1st

@Ross_McDougall HIstorical price data has existed for a long time in POE 1 and will likely for PoE 2, but it's only useful really for set items like uniques and currency/fragments. Rare pricing is a core game skill, which wouldn't change with an AH. I may make another guide on it for folks.

Settlers was my fav PoE 1 of all time, I think. But I 100% think they should do some mini refresh events in this situation. - Run some events like endless delve or settlers 3 - Private league 90% off discounts - Previous expansion returns ____ 1 month event.
@ZiggyDStarcraft PoE1 can't be in the best state its ever been if we're not seeing league releases. I hate that every streamer is acting like the balance and QoL state of the game is what matters when most people won't play if there isn't a trade league population.

@insanobrandon I don't envy their position here, I imagine they were hoping to somehow be able to make a different announcement. Kind of a lose-lose situation too. I know POE 2 players would be scratching their heads if PoE 1 got priority.
