@MeowsterLDN @Sebasti66855537 unfortunately, the benchmark tool for the release version already is out and the results are not great. it runs better, yes, but... not that much. biggest change is allowing you to turn off raytracing, and somehow that doesn't improve performance by a significant amount

@NCHproductions animation locks are a biiiiit too long, I feel, and even adding back hitstop, the artstyle itself doesn't lend itself as well to meatier feeling strikes

I have no idea how this game got so slept on and it's a dang crime it did, this was just plain fantastic

@DRAGONFAIYAH Going by my own experience I feel like that's just a common symptom of being unaware of how the world works and thinking you have plot armor to being a failure, not exclusively an american thing, not even close but it does feel like good ol' murica is the perfect seedbed for it

@VashawnMassey @Dubchee @ShitpostRock the bonfire explosions are one-time scripted events that don't deal any damage, they're a glorified cutscene transition. the only thing "wrong" in that video is the attack hitboxes being jank sometimes.

The NES mock-up work games and the cat dieting minigame in particular charmed me to no end, and would have made me love this game if the final boss(and to a lesser extent, not-jason) didn't make the last stretch of the game so sour.
