@ZaminIqbal I don't have a reference fasta to hand I'm afraid! A lot of obvious kitome bugs fall into the Alphaproteobacteria, so you could download seqs from that taxon and use it as a first pass. With human judgement of course. :)

Strange... I cut down 99% on my twitter use and suddenly get a bunch of new followers and people liking really old tweets 🤔 They don't look like bots, just new people. Anyway, come over to mastodon if you want to hear my nonsense! I'm not talking much here anymore!

@DrJenGunter Definitely depends on the server. Smaller ones seem to cope much better 😅

@niamhpage I've seen a lot of folks pop up on , but I think they temporarily paused new sign ups due to the influx 😅

For anyone with a modest/small twitter following who is worried about "reach" on Mastodon. I've had more engagement on there with 50 followers than I ever get on twitter with 1000 followers. Guess that could be the algorithm I hear so much about 😂
