@Azul_GG I personally think it is, though I haven't played a ton of ptcg. Thing is that's not really a good thing all the time, the fact that many cards just don't do what they say is "hard" but not really good. Lots of misunderstanding about how ygo works as well, but that's normal tbh.

@BridgesTCG It's funny to me, I've seen people say stuff like this before, but I think it misses that learning spreadsheet combos isn't mastery of a deck it's the starting point. Learning how they adapt to different HTs at different points, how to play through a board, etc all matters a ton.

@wachelreeks Makes sense and sounds good overall, and focusing on intent is a very important part of this system. The only thing I majorly disagree with is that mana bases somehow don't skew games. Og dual lands, shock lands, fetch lands will put you well ahead of temples and evolving wilds.

@autogynefiles Being good at standardized testing and math doesn't really translate to being good at managing my life sadly.

@ch1naweee It has a good balance for me of being very nostalgic, having a decent variety of pokemon(I usually nuzlocke so fr/lg gets very repetitive), and not dragging on as much as some of the ds games do on repeat playthroughs.

@Stimpak_VT I typically prefer YouTube because the player is so much better and there are fewer ads, but I don't chat much.

@AuroraYGO I've been poking at commander, and because of this I've been much more in on controlish decks. The combos are either super underwhelming, or it's just an infinite that needs like 3 cards.

@MartianBuu My hater take is that I don't think I've ever had fun playing with or against demon hunter.

@direYGO I would argue there is some relationship between card design and price, since if reprints weren't completely power crept by the time archetypes actually got reprinted, maybe the price wouldn't be so bad. Happy for those who are enjoying it, I just won't be dropping 1k on a deck.
