I urged coaches at High Academic D3 level to take a player last summer. They didn’t. Now he’s doing a post-grad year and IVY and Patriots are all over him… I’m realistic about our guys! We have a roster of college basketball players again. Please don’t miss out on great kids!

AAU Coaches as we plan for spring, remember your job is to return guys to their HS teams as better players. Teach how to play with game scenarios throughout practice, improve their skill, make them stronger, play MAN! Don’t need guys learning new sets and zones. Get them better!

We were 3-16 my first season at Hackley. No culture of ‘winning the day’. 6-16 the following year. Then Covid. Then 8-16.
16-8 last season. 8-2 to start this season. So much work left to do, but so proud of these boys and what they have built… Including those first 3 teams.

2024 Max Frei, 6’2 combo guard, of Fieldston School really picked up recruiting steam throughout July. Just this past weekend Max had a 4:1 A:TO ratio while averaging 8ppg, 8rpg, 4apg, 2.3spg. Max led the team (by a lot) with a +59 in our 3 wins! which is fairly typical… Schools
