What a bias headline & false narrative from MPR - since when is saving the life of a baby who is born alive or funding to help new or expecting moms controversial?! These used to be easy bipartisan & common sense initiatives - that are widely supported by Minnesotans by the way.

Remember this as the current administration tries to re-write the history of all this fraud in an attempt to convince the public it has a new plan to solve it. MN Department of Education wouldn’t even answer basic questions regarding the FBI - very transparent state government.🧐

Massive fraud has been tolerated for the past 6+ years. What’s needed is actual leadership & accountability - the executive branch has failed to the tune of $600+ million. There’s nothing new about this unit - the same good people will be doing their same jobs in a new building.
Minnesotans have no tolerance for fraud. That's why we created a state law enforcement unit to investigate and hold people accountable for these crimes, and why I'm calling on the legislature to pass our comprehensive anti-fraud package.

To all the great MN teachers emailing this Valentine - I’m with you! The $19 billion surplus 2 years ago was a golden opportunity for the union & those in total control to fix the pension issue for good - hold them accountable. They chose differently & never brought it to a vote

I’m glad folks have decided to show up to work today & do the business of the people. We’ve lost nearly 4 weeks of precious time to work on the things Minnesotans need us to fix - combating fraud, helping schools, reducing taxes, lowering the cost of living - let’s get it done!✅

Moms, dads, teachers, & students don’t want excuses when it comes to school safety. A safe classroom learning environment should never take a backseat to partisan politics. Passing common sense legislation to keep our kids & schools safe so they can focus on learning is critical.

Any follow up coverage from the media - new fraud revelations have surfaced since this hearing. Any conversations with the Commerce Fraud Bureau? Any questions as to how this will actually work or accomplish what Minnesotans are being promised? Looking into it seems reasonable.🧐
Minnesotans demand real substantive changes to address the over half a BILLION dollars in fraud related to state agencies. We won’t settle for a hand-wave, press release, & fancy soundbite. Taxpayers want this fixed for good - more of the same won’t suffice. They deserve better!

We have a lot of things to fix on behalf of the people of Minnesota, our schools, & communities. The promise of bipartisanship means listening to stakeholders, experts, & voters regarding consequences of legislation passed over the last 2 years - then working together to fix it.
