Great @MedLibAssn talk by Michael Upshall ( Included something like, "I'm not sure if the algorithm is the problem. I think it's more frequently the corpus which has the bias, which the algorithm simply reveals."

The NCI ODS Inaugural Data Sharing Symposium was fantastic! Also I’ve learned about NIH events (1) allow 50+ minutes for entry process plus 20 more find your destination. SRSLY over an hour to get in! (2) know the phone number of the symposium contact.

@MLAHypothesis And there are so many cool formats of articles in @MLAHypothesis (journal of the research caucus) for #medlibs who are interested. If you’re learning a new method of research, you could write up a short overview and example for the peer reviewed Methods Moment section!

@menacegypin @librarianlea Dimensions does seem like a good choice to check. Or if it has a doi, you could check Crossref or Datacite, whichever doi minter you use.

Wow, thanks! It’s a tough but important topic to balance interoperability with representation (budget the time to both if you can!). AIAN is a problematic classification; remind patrons about the value of tribal consultation in data. So good to see @JeSLIBJournal highlight this!
