FORMULA 1 IS STARTING THIS WEEKEND AND FERNANDO ALONSO WHO WON 2 WDC TITLES ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO JOINED ASTON MARTIN. EVERYONE THOUGHT HE DID ANOTHER BAD MOVE BUT IN TESTING THE CAR WAS SUPER FAST. THEY EVEN DID A RACE RUN AT THE SAME PACE AS FERRARI. ALONSO WILL FIGHT FOR WINS.

Real life stewards imo are killing racing.
On the inside, just overshoot the entry to be slightly ahead on apex. The rules say you can now push the other car off.
The blue car got a puncture and car on the outside got a penalty for it.
Keep this away from simracing 👎👎👎

Golden era of GT3 is here. They took off any front end grip of all cars except for the Audi, the Italian Audi and the Ford.
Audi is twitchy, Lambo is nice out of the box.

I'm moving to Finland to be with my amazing girlfriend and finally leaving my childhood home.

your fixed setups in GT3 are sub-par.
They need to be drivable for your whole player base but these setups are not that. Most of these setups have chronic understeer with snap oversteer.
This does not teach good driving habits or provide a good experience.

Hot topic at the moment, I'm scared there are some kneejerk reactions coming.
Some cheats are very hard to detect, especially in the hands of already good drivers.
With enough data and cross referencing we can spot difference in grip 🧵

There have been improvements over the years but the difference between getting someone setup on iRacing for example compared to rF2 is insane. And that's just the start of it with more bugs, issues and quality of life things coming after.

My Day in 2 pictures.
Was in QF 1, pace looked alright so I went for a safe Q lap which only put me P6.
In the midfield, some people don't think very far ahead and we ended up 3-4 wide. Contact resulted in a penalty for me from a qualifying position.

Results from the (rushed) BoP test on stream today.
Only 5 laps per car, all on VRS setups. Lots of speculation on longer runs based on my experience driving these cars and other special events.
Should be a guideline but do your own testing 🙏

Was 4 tenths up, plenty to go through to hyperpole but it wasn't to be. LMP2 misjudged the gap and that's it.
Long race tomorrow, starting P8 and a DT to serve at the start but the pace is strong.

Spa 24,my perspective:
The staff only punished drivers after the race, with bans being handed out now.
I'm baffled everyone accepts the result. Just because most others cheated too doesn't mean it's not cheating.
IMO drivers and teams need to take more responsibility.

I hold brakes almost the entire time, with the exeption when I thought I could keep the car from going back towards the track where it was obviously doing. ABS makes it so the wheels don't lock and the car barely slows down.
People really screenhotted that 1 moment off brakes🤡

The classic “ease off the brake pedal and gently understeer wide” move. Every (good) racing driver on the planet would have done the same.
Maybe Max deserved a warning but nothing more in my view. Good, hard racing between two of the best drivers ever.

The new Porsche 992 gt3 on iRacing is insane.
Much better balance than the old one, I think it's the easiest gt3 to drive now and on top of that it's giga fast.
Expect it to be slowed down but not after a few weeks so everyone has to buy it 🤑
