I did "duty day" at my younger son's preschool last week and talked to them about rocks, metals and mining. It was incredibly well-received with the kids enjoying photos of big trucks, rock samples, and microscopes. Never be ashamed to talk positively about mining!

Just over two weeks after her 100th birthday we said goodbye to my grandmother on the 19th. We lost much of her to the scourge of dementia years ago, and now her body has given in, as well. Rest in peace, Gram, I'll always cherish our special bond.
