📖 The majority of pictures in dermatology textbooks only include the presentation on light skin!
This needs addressing especially as BAME patients make up approx 20% of the UK population!

Please tell me why the IMTs (with 4 more years experience) are doing the exact same ward jobs as me.
Service provision is killing training, they should be running their own clinics not on hold to blood bank / chasing MRIs / doing TTOs etc😩
One of the saddest things about foundation has been realising IMT1-3 is basically F3, 4, 5. The teaching they have looks like ours, the ward day-to-day looks like ours, the on-calls honestly look F2 level. I just get embarrassed when an IMT2 asks if they can do a routine CRP.

Reading the UKFPO situation just highlights further how there is no respect for medical training anymore.
Will not be surprised to see a surge in new doctors leaving training early as they're placed in areas of the country they don't want, doing jobs they never wanted to do.
