I say all that to say that it’s likely both for sales and for personal motivation/inspiration. When a person is the brand, their personal evolution marks a shift in their positioning which requires a new narrative. Do you feel like the sales motivation perverts/dilutes it?

That’s valid! I work in comms, but not the ent industry. My speculation is they want to tell the story of their personal evolution as their work evolves. Similar to how any other brand would re-tell their story if there’s been a meaningful shift in how they position themselves.

The weakness on your argument is the assumption that she’s not lying on the stand when she says she doesn’t remember things we can all reasonably assume she does remember (but you can’t prove memory). She has consistently lied on the stand despite the incentives you mentioned.
