My dad's body was on the front page if a major newspaper a day after the accident. And while his body was covered, I still have a very vivid memory of the image. I was 9.

I understand the idea behind sharing images of accidents as a sort of shock to hopefully shape positive behaviors. However if the method hasn’t reaped any real results and persons are hurt by it then what’s the obsession with continuing?
