Lover of Horror, Sci - Fi, Pulp Fiction and obscure films from the 20s - 80s - Cult, Film Noir/B movies. I run an E-bay store called Dead Man's Treasure Chest.
Complete run of all the EC Horror comics in one long box. Unslabbed. Appear to be high grade, too. I get anxiety just looking at it, though. What if you accidentally dropped the box?
Wasn't feeling well today - didn't get any work done. I'm about to list a few things now, though. Love the art on these old Ace Edgar Rice Burroughs paperbacks.
Just finished watching this for the first time. Very interesting film. Watched it because it was on a list of Kubrick's favorite films. Almost certainly influenced by Clockwork Orange.
Now Watching The Crawling Eye (1958) aka The Trollenberg Terror. This great British B-movie movie holds a special place in my heart - probably because I first watched it so young. Left a big imprint on my psyche. I live for corny B movies like this.
Been having incredible luck lately. I was at a local bookshop yesterday and was just about to leave when something told me to go down and scan one last isle. I found this first Penguin Ed. of Junky, 1977. I paid $5 for it. If I'm not mistaken, that's a steal!
Another movie tie in published 1964 by Signet. If I'm not mistaken the movie came out 1968. So this was published 4 years before the film came out? Can that be right?
Another find from last week. Paid $2 bucks for it. Looked it up on e-bay and it was going for significantly more than that. It's a little beat up, but I should make a few bucks on it.
Good Afternoon bookfam! Been busy working, hope you all are well. Since I seem to have so many fellow Woolrich admirerers among my friends, I figured you all would appreciate this one! Found about 12 months back and it immediately went into my personal collection.
Good morning book fam! Shipping this out today! One of my favorite movie tie in editions of all time. Regret selling it now lol. Only reason I am is because I have another copy. Berkley Medallion, 1971.
Now Watching: Mad Love (1935) AKA The Hands of Orlak starring the incomparable Peter Lorre. One of my all time favorite cult flicks. Directed by maybe my favorite cinematographer of all time - Karl Freund - who also shot Dracula, Key Largo and Metropolis (among others).
