Every time I start a new world in MC 1.20 there’s so many interesting exploration moments that I don’t remember seeing much in old MC minus wacky stuff like floating islands, old MC felt kinda repetitive which is why I stopped playing.
I cannot emphasize enough how Minecraft Beta 1.8 destroyed the game, and it has never recovered since. Floating islands? gone. Wildly varying scalable mountains no matter where you go? gone. Sand and gravel beaches? Nerfed and removed. Spawn on beach? Nope. Grind-fest? Yup!
