Grief is a bastard, when does it stop? So many dimensions, whether you're the soul mate for 58 years, daughters 45 & 50, grandchildren great grandchildren, 50 Yr + friendship /love. We're all experiencing different emotions and memories. Grief is fukin hard.

Haven't really been able to look at photos of my mum for more than a few seconds since she died of a catastrophic brain hemorrhage in 2020. This is a lovely one and my heart breaks.

#Grief day 86 since my 69 Yr old mum suddenly died, quick for her which I take comfort from, very traumatic for us. Today would've been their 50th anniversary. My sister has taken dad to mums meadow, I can't be there as they are in Wales. The pain comes in waves, the grief moves.

#Grief day 112. Still an emotional roller-coaster but the intensity has eased most of the time then it hits me. Mum's gone, never coming back, went from healthy 24hrs dead. Reality kicks in. Dad's lost his partner of 52yrs that must really fkin hurt. Imagine all those memories.
