I still remember BITS was raising a $100 million endowment fund. I was unhappy that it was for research cause I thought it will be invested in to markets.
I got a harsh scolding from my senior for like 2 mins straight 😭, explaining me the importance of research in businesses.

I think the biggest mistake I made in first year was trying to achieve everything that my seniors did in 4 years in one semester. I am much calmer and steady now but I miss my first year hunger for everything.
