As someone who has taken antidepressants in the past, I can tell you, please do not allow your children to take any medication that can interfere with their brain chemistry. I believe that long-term and perhaps even short-term use of these medications can cause anger, lack of affection, violent behavior, even homosexuality tendencies etc. Unless your child is facing a very serious trauma, loving them, empathizing with them, and spending time with them will be better than any medication they may take. Protect your children.
