I've caught up with someone I hadn't seen in a decade, began vocal coach lessons, started going to the pub alone to write fantasy and have signed up for a spooky poetry workshop.

I've been using Twitch streams as an excuse to experiment with make up. 3 years ago I remember thinking I could never create a perfect wing or wear lipstick without feeling like a clown but I'm really proud of how my makeup skills have improved as I've experimented. Small wins❤

I edited a wedding video for my cousins big day (for context: I recently went on holiday to attend this wedding, here's me in ma dress).

So instead I made this little singing booth out of cardboard and it's so stupid I love it. It works surprisingly well!

The hardest thing I had to come to terms with since being laid off is realising my worth wasn't tied to a company. I worried I wouldn't be seen as a 'real game dev' (hence the halt on game dev tuts, I felt guilty). But I can tell you that is bollocks. Your skills are your own❤

Over the weekend I attended a wedding at a gorgeous hotel (Billesley Manor) in Shakespeares home town. We snuck off during some down time to visit a small, overgrown church called All Saints where he apparently married Anne Hathaway.

Brain fart regarding the lay offs:
No industry is like games in terms of pushing itself to always have 'cutting edge' tech. Films don't try to be 50+hrs or consistently create whole new systems. There's so much we can do within the interactive medium,but does that mean we should?
