I grew up riding on
@SEPTA
I’m the 1st person in my immediate family to have a driver’s license. Decided to ride the BSL today after a meeting. I love
@SEPTA
but we gotta do something about the urine smell, and the people smoking on the train. Anybody from septa want to sit down?
Had the opportunity to meet
@JohnFetterman
tonight and I’m excited for PA’s future. Philadelphia on November 8th we must make sure we come out and vote for him. He’s ready to fight for you and me. This is what change looks like 😎
Pennsylvania has a surplus of $12 billion for the state budget. Can I get $5M To pick up a legal dumps, hire a 5,000 ppl to sweep all Philadelphia blocks on a weekly basis, add trash cans to brown and black neighborhoods, create and run a dump task force, and buy 20 trash trucks.
Hey Philadelphia, for the last few months, I’ve been doing a lot of research on these trash containers. If there was a way to bring these containers to Philadelphia, would you want them? I think ima do a poll tomorrow on this…
Currently at the press conference to stand in solidarity with
@PhilaNAACP
and many other calling on The Union League of Philadelphia to not honor

I am sick and tired of living in the dirtiest city in America. I’m running for city council at large to make Philadelphia the cleanest & safest city in this country. It’s time to make the beautification of Philadelphia a priority. A cleaner city is a safer city!
#yafav4philly
I am at pissed off Philadelphian, who is tired of living in the dirtiest city in America. It’s time for everyone to say yes to a clean Philadelphia. Local government needs to make the beautification of Philadelphia a priority. That’s exactly what I’m going to do 😎
#Yafav4philly
Saw this on
@HangleyJr
page. This is what 40th and Delancy looks like 🤬😡 This is what we call Penn Christmas. When the students move out and just leave everything on the sidewalk for sanitation workers and the community to deal with. Smh 🤦🏾♂️
@penn
Please give me a call 🙏🏾 I have
Up late thinking about how to get Philadelphia to be a greener, more sustainable city. A city with no trash, working street lights, more trees, cameras and no potholes. I have some ideas, anybody want to share theirs?
I did a cleanup on Monday and picked up 10 tons of trash off this block. Someone came the next day and dumped where we just cleaned up. This is a slap in the face to every single person that was out there cleaning. I’m so angry 😡. Elected officials we need you.
@ellisonreport
If someone could say a prayer for me tonight I’d appreciate it. Dealing with some personal things and am not my best self. If I seem off, please give me grace as I work through this. I am human and I don’t always have great days.
Did a clean up this morning in Kensington. This part of the city needs so much love. We need a strategic game plan to clean and keep clean Kensington. The people in this community deserve better.
#Watchmework
This is what 11th and Spruce looked like today around 1pm. I know because I slipped on some of the trash juice that had spilled out 😡 It doesn’t have to be like this, it’s not that hard. If your ready for a clean Philly drop a ❤️
Somebody convince
@quintabrunson
to do an illegal dumping episode on
@AbbottElemABC
so I can be on the show and get the beautification of Philadelphia as a priority! Help me out here Philly 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I just wanna openly say that I am against
@TheUnionLeague
honoring
@GovRonDeSantis
last week. I stood in solidarity, and even voiced my opinion. His views and morals have no place in our great city. I want it to be clear which side of the fence I stand on.
I got tired of waiting. This community was tired of waiting. Philadelphia is tired of waiting to be clean. So I handled it myself. Time to invest in our communities. They deserve better. We have to be the change we want to see. It starts with us
#justdoit
The problem in Philly is that everyday people don’t have the resources to be everyday people. Everyone is in survival mode. People don’t have the bare minimum to make life ok. We gotta get back to everyone having everything they need to be everyday people 😎
This is the Going to be a thing of the past!! I promise you that, Philadelphians do not deserve this. Time to say yes to a clean Philly!! Vote

Hey Philly 🗣 If you look at a map and highlight the zip codes with the highest amount of gun violence, and then highlight the dirtiest parts of the city, guess what…The maps will match 🤯🤯 It’s no coincidence, the intentional disinvestment in certain zip codes is evident. 🤔🧐
“Trigger warning ⚠️” Super thankful for life today!! January 21st I was in the hospital for liver failure after contracting hepatitis A during my Martin Luther King day of service clean, (I let someone borrow my gloves) at first, I thought it was the flu, but my stomach was
I challenge the city of Philadelphia to cease all homicides while
@Phillies
are in the World Series. Let’s show our team support by having zero gun violence. The togetherness they show as a team is what Philadelphia is all about. “Good things happen in Philly”
@PastorCarlDay
We need a big change in Philadelphia. We need people to not talk about change but be the change. It’s time for our leaders to take off the suits, put on the boots and get in the community. We have no more time waste. It’s time to push go on actions. It’s going to take all of us.
I’ve been saying for 2 years now, that my goal is to make Philly the cleanest city in the world 🌎. Just wanted to remind everyone that this remains my goal.
This is horrible quality of life for Philadelphians. This is why I’m running for city council at large. The city needs to do and not say! Vote YaFav4Philly Terrill Haigler!! Change has to be now! Ya Fav=Change 😎
newkirk st. & cecil b moore ave. 😖 This is not normal Philly!! We have to treat our community better. No one deserves to have this in their neighborhood. Let’s all say yes to a clean Philly 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Imagine how the children feel waking up to this every day smh 🤦🏾♂️
Ok ima just say it…..In about one month myself and a close friend
@morganberman
will be launching an app that Philadelphians can use to report short dumping/litter but also people can get paid to clean it up. If you would download this app comment “Me”‼️
Lessons I’ve learned so far in 2022: The nonprofit life is definitely for the strong, focused and determined. Y’all pray for me, this is one of the hardest things I’ve done, but I do believe a clean Philadelphia will make it all worth it‼️‼️ Currently refilling my cup 😫😫
Philadelphia if you didn’t know, we are about to enter a very important moment in Philly’s history. The next mayor of Philadelphia has to have a transparent strategic plan on how they are going to clean the streets. Stay tuned for some of my suggestions on how I would do it
#vote
This is what the back of the KFC on Broad and Girard looks like 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ The only way this is going to change is if we as Philadelphians start to change. Let’s all say yes to a CLEAN PHILADELPHIA‼️
FYI: In Philly it costs $120 per ton to dump at the dump. The average short dump weights 1 ton. When I do a clean up without the city, and use my truck, I spend about $800 a clean up. We need to invest in the Beautification of Philly. $10K equals 83 tons of trash off the ground.
Philly is so dope, I wish I had the resources to do more to help everyone in this city. I have so many ideas that I feel would really improve the quality of life for some many people. Create jobs, lower gun violence, and help with homelessness. I got to do it 😎 Watch we work 💪🏾
My first profession was theatre 🎭 and Dance 🕺 Today, for the 1st time in 7 years I steeped back on the dance floor. As a candidate for City Council at large, I 100% support the arts here in Philly. It’s time to historically, fund arts and education in our city.
Smh 🤦🏾♂️ Took this video of a block in the Kensington section of the city. No one deserves to live on a block that looks like this. I promise on everything I love this will be a dead habit in Philly when I’m done 😤😤
To all the candidates for mayor: Are you satisfied with the way the streets department is being ran? If not, would you consider firing the streets commissioner and getting a committee together to find someone that will really fix our trash and road problems? Tag the candidates…
This is the results of this mornings cleanup at the somerset Station with
@SEPTA_SOCIAL
@SEPTA
hopefully this small gesture impacts the community in a big way. The volunteers and I also enjoy talking to each other trying to figure out how do we shift the mindset of Philadelphians
This picture was taken this morning near the Abstinince Statue near the Mann. Pictures like this makes me so angry. This can not be the normal for Philadelphia. We have to eradicate illegal dumping in the city. I’m a pissed of Philadelphian. Let’s talking, more doing ‼️
Just had an amazing meeting with the ast. GM of customer experience for
@SEPTA
He saw my tweet about having a sit down. Definitely learned a lot. He was very open to hearing my concerns. We both agree, there is a lot of work to be done. We came up with next steps, keep a look out
A year ago I was throwing trash in the back of a truck, this year I’m at a BBQ with
@POTUS
and
@DrBiden
. Never I’m my dreams did I think YFT would get me to the
@WhiteHouse
. and I ran into my friend
@alastanford
I’m blessed and I don’t take it for granted‼️‼️ Believe in You💪🏾💪🏾
Asking a legit question. Dose anyone else find it hard not to be on high alert when say a group of 5 young people get near you with ski mask on. I try my best to not jump to conclusions. But it’s extremely difficult. Open to hearing how other people deal with this.
1. Why does 100 cameras cost $1.8 million? 2. How much money would it be to get working air conditioners in every school? 3. Is all the asbestos out of every single school? 4. Are there still schools who have brown water? 5. Our children deserve the absolute best.
.
@Darrell_Clarke
will introduce legislation this week in Council which includes $1.8 Million to fund a minimum of 100 security cameras near 15

schools where students have been impacted by gun violence as they travel to and from school.
Received a text from a friend yesterday full of pictures of trash just sitting in Kensington. She was so upset to see her neighborhood look like this. This has to be a thing of the past. No one deserves this in their community. The time for a clean Philadelphia is now #🛑dumping
At my clean up today my trash ambassador
@frasermarlow
found a bullet. If you still think that litter and crime are not related, come talk to me. In order to get a handle on the violence in Philadelphia we have to address the environmental racism that has been going on for years.
Had the pleasure of meeting Mike today. Mike lives on the Block we cleaned and he wanted to express the impact that we had on him today. This is why I’m running for city council. To make sure that every Philadelphian feels heard and acknowledged.
Shout Out to Arch Street Preschool for having me in on Friday to talk about how important sanitation workers are to the community. We had a blast pretending to pick up a a trash route 🫶🏾❤️
Got to meet the incredible
@Eugenia_South
today. I’ve been using her 2018 research on vacant lots and greening spaces as a foundation for my ideas. Hopefully this will not be the last time you see us together 😎
I don’t know whether to be upset, depressed, angry or numb. Having my car stolen has really put some things in perspective for me. I love this city so much, but somethings really have to change. I’ll be 35 in three weeks. and the first time in my life, I don’t feel safe.
Just heard that a sanitation worker was shot and killed today while on the route. I don’t have all the details all I know is that this has to stop, and it has to stop now. I know how hard the job is, now you add this. SMH 🤦🏾♂️ Philly we got to do better. Prayers up to the family 🕊️
I spent my morning cleaning around the Somerset Station in Kensington, in partnership with
@SEPTA_SOCIAL
We want to create a program that encourages committee members to adopt a Station, and keep the pathway to the station clean!! Wait till you see the after 😎
With everything going on in the world 🌎 I wanted to take a moment to let you know it is ok for you to seek help. Therapy change my life after my divorce. It’s super dope to put your mental health first 💪🏾💪🏾 It’s ok to not be ok, it’s not ok to do noting about it. You are loved

How about you rise to the negotiating table and grind out a fair contract for

So happy to announce that I have the opportunity to serve the awesome residents of the 201st district under

1 of 17‼️ Yesterday I was honored to be announced as a member of Philadelphia’s first Environmental Justice Advisory Commission. My fellow commissioners and I are excited to ignite real change in Philly. Who knew this was Gods plan for my life 🙏🏾 Change is here, Change is now💪🏾✊🏾
Thinking about the good I want to do for the city. How I know in my core that Philly as the potential to be the greatest city in the world. It STARTS with cleaning our city, making sure no matter the zip code you live on a clean block, and have your trash picked up on time.
Why does Philly have to look like this?? A cleaner neighborhood is a safer neighborhood. We have to do better. Let’s unnormalized living in filth, and normalize living on a clean street. We all have to say yes to a cleaner Philadelphia.
#keepitclean
Up thinking about all the trash on the expressway. And then boom it hits me. What if at 2am the street sweepers lined up and cleaned the expressway. Getting all the litter, then have 1 trash truck follow and pick up all the bulk items. Thoughts 💭?
I heard
@PhilaStreets
spent $62M on leaf blowers 🤯 Crazy part is, to dump at the dump is $120 a ton, so $12K would allow me to pick up 100 tons of trash. $62M would allow me to pick up 516,666 ton of trash. That’s 1,033,333 pounds of trash. How clean would Philly be…💭
My children’s book “I’m Cool Too” should be ready to be shipped to your house holds by mid-late June. With that being said I’ve decided to donate $5 of every book sale to
@PHLschools
🥳 I’ve already pre-sold 333 books 😎 Meaning $1,665 has already been raised…tread
