Cahaya-Makers brings you Nicol David, former 8-times World Squash Champion. Under Nicol David Organisation (NDO), Nicol founded Little Legends, a program supporting mid-low income families in KL with an after school program, providing Squash Training & more to kids < 12. #YSDAF

#YSDAF2023 is all set for a grand return, unveiling its diverse & captivating line-up. Happening on the 19 & 20 Aug in klpac, the festival is jam-packed with over 350 arts activities, all free and open to the public.

“True Love Waits: A Radiohead Tribute” will finally hit the stage at YSDAF 2023. The pre-festival highlight will take place from 10th to 13th August at klpac’s Pentas 2 before joining the festival finale on 19 & 20 Aug.

#YSDAF2023 presents “Double Bill: Aragang & The Choice” by UMa Dance. Established in 2007 to enable Uni Malaya #dance students to showcase #contemporary works featuring challenging #choreography, UMa Dance has been performing in various #showcases nationwide & Southeast Asia.

#YSDAF2023 presents “Yin & Yang” featuring director/performer Lee Swee Keong. "Yin & Yang" is a mask show with only one expression, but through different clothing & body expressions, it will present different roles & personalities, accompanied by live music of gongs & hand discs.

#YSDAF2023 presents Precious Plastic Workshop by Precious Plastic Malaysia (PPM), a #plastic #recycling company that educates & teaches the public about how to #recycleplastic. Come & learn how to create a new product using recycled plastics. Suitable for children 7 and above.

#YSDAF2023 presents ‘Urumi Melam’ - performed by the award winning Sri Maha Kaliamman Urumi Melam Sungai Buloh. This double-headed hourglass-shaped #drum and its band originated from South India & is traditionally known to be a must for special festivals.

#YSDAF2023 presents Thai Traditional Martial Arts by Anurak Studio. The showcase & workshop will allow audience & participants to explore the traditional #Thai #martial like Muay Boran, Krabi Krabong & also learn the Thai traditional steps, stances, movements and techniques.
