Allowing small-lot starter homes would give more Arizona families a path to homeownership and spur the production of badly needed housing. Let your legislators know you support the Starter Homes Act!
The Starter Homes Act(HB 2371/SB 1229) passed House Commerce. It legalizes smaller lot sizes. Our bipartisan coalition is strong & determined. Too many are locked out of the opportunity to own a home and build wealth. It’s time to bring back the American dream of homeownership.

If Trump’s exec order to halt infrastructure projects derails under-construction projects, city and state budgets could be on the hook for huge amounts of $$$$ Picking up the federal tab on a highway (probably with money from state transit priorities) would be a disaster for AZ
I'm seeking immediate clarification from @USDOT on Trump's executive order withholding Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds. These are dollars Arizona is counting on for our roads and highways, airports and water infrastructure.

NEW: Tempe has finally legalized ADUs across the city. What's next? Tempe will expand where missing middle housing can be built. It's another opportunity for the city to seriously tackle the housing crisis, but only if we go beyond what the state now requires.
