Lai denied a drastic change in Apple Daily’s coverage and his own political stand after 2014. He said the newspaper had all long covered social movements and only seemed to be more active when it had to respond as the city saw more movements in the past decade. #developing

The #JimmyLai #NSL collusion trial has been going on for more than 90 days and today the ex-tycoon who has been kept behind bars since late 2020 will step into the witness box, breaking the silence he has kept in 5 previous trials over 4 years.
