An intriguing finding from our simulations: synapses are synergistic in coding information. The green line shows that the info contributed by a single synapse increases as the synaptic ensemble size grows. -- In other words, teamwork amplifies individual impact!๐ก

I find this highly promising as, according to my knowledge, it is the only and the simplest bio-plausible framework that explains all three issues of backpropagation in current machine learning and neuroscience community. ๐ฅณ
