Ok so I really need to clarify something here. Many people are going to the Wikipedia entry for 764 and seeing this very misleading statement. Com is NOT synonymous with 764! βComβ is short for Community - a broad network of cybercriminal groups. There are several arms of Com. Thereβs Hacking Com, Swatting Com, and Extortion Com (among others). Someone in hacking com may have absolutely nothing to do with extortion com, which is where 764 sits. You canβt just call someone who is connected to Com a member of 764 or a terrorist, etc. I hope this clarifies some things for future reference! Maybe someone knows a wiki editor whoβd be willing to make this correction!
