@XUTurkey It will be really hard for X and other small private schools to continue to compete moving forward if NIL landscape / rules don’t change. Depressing but true. X doesn’t have the money needed to annually recruit top guys. Or to retain talent.

Marquette has had 39 guys make the NBA in history. Having 3 in 2 years is lucky. Also, they might lose 4 games yet in regular season.

@RetireFiftyTu I think these refs make over $3,000 per game for BE and other high major conferences. All the more reason for more accountability! Totally agree with you. Also they shouldn’t be able to ref back to back nights. Tired refs = more bad calls.

@BE_GoldenEagle Yeah was not a clean game. Xavier still makes too many dumb decisions on offense. But they played great D. And yes maybe I overstated the Kam points thing, but I’ll say it this way. They are almost unbeatable if he scores 20+. MU needs Jop and Ross to be more consistent.

@KPeezoEddy @ryancassidycbb I have been to almost all of the MU/UW games for the past 20 years. I live in Milwaukee and see more MU games than X games annually. Both are great rivalries. I don’t think anyone can fully appreciate either rivalry unless you are local. Bottom line: both are good rivalries.

@KPeezoEddy @ryancassidycbb 1990’s thru now. The old days of GMW and C-USA, MU and UC had some heated games. The MU / WI rivalry is a good one. I enjoy it. It’s just the XU / UC rivalry is truly pure hatred. Being 4 miles apart adds to it. And UC fans arrogance adds to it. X has dominated recently!

@jaypo1961 Casual fan here. I agree with the move of firing Longo. Offense has been abysmal. However, I think the fan base needs to remember who we have lost to. If we had Indiana’s schedule what would our record be? 8-2?

@jaypo1961 Casual fan here. I understand things are not going well. But they have lost to Alabama and USC. Not Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, etc. Different level. Things were much easier when the schedule was softer. Not apples to apples comparison.
