I think I just played the greatest game of d&d ever.
Cried multiple times. Huge laughs. Really tense moments. My players said some of the coolest things. Moved to emotions I’ve never felt before.

Today, Strahd menacingly casted mirror image and my sister simply casted magic missile at 2nd level and targeted all 4 Strahds.
I was blown away and so proud. I had never thought you could thump mirror image like that.

The more I play TTRPG's the more I dislike taking away player turns. Just feels real bad.
I'm avoiding stun, unconcious, and paralyze pretty much exclusivley + I made a new "dying" condition to my fan-made fallout rules that gives you a limited turn. I might try to convert to D&D

I think it’s a testament to the writing of this game that the npc’s themselves are this divisive. Everyone seems to have different experiences with these characters and I think that’s really cool.
Lae'zel is the RPG party member equivalent of "the show gets really good after season 4".
I'm glad she has an arc, but im not putting up with her shit for 10 hours for her to eventually maybe stop being an ass.

This game is enormous. Everyone really likes to throw out that DLC will be an obvious additional to any game, but the sheer amount of work, passion, and goodwill Larian poured into this game is enough. More than enough.
Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke has revealed that the developer isn't planning to release any expansions or DLC for Baldur's Gate 3, nor a Baldur's Gate 4.

Really shook my expectations. Loved all of it! Spencer and I were just naming spells back and forth. I annoyed my friends by yelling about Themberchaud.
I may have shed a few tears towards the end.
