I see this point but I also think there’s a religious/economic holdover from time gone by. The crossroads of “be fruitful and multiply” and sired farm labor is where my mind goes primarily. I think Americans see this exacerbated this millennium by non-USA cultural zeitgeists too.
Happy 84th birthday to Claudette Colvin!
She refused to move to the back of a bus 9 months before Rosa Parks, the NAACP did not want to use her to represent them because she was 15 & pregnant.
Other women who refused to give up their seats before Rosa Parks

Look into the case of Ryan Waller. His house was broken into — he was shot in the head; gf shot dead on the couch. He woke up later and was interrogated by the cops for hours before they all realized he’d been shot. Some things don’t make sense.
Oh he knows what he’s doing.
Today, mid-cut, he stops & rubs my head. “I miss my waves”, he says.
He leans me back; I see his shirt - “CREAM”, it says.
Me:
What’s that mean?
Him:
Idk… I think the message is pretty clear. I think it’s sumn freaky.
Me:
I’ve never texted my mom on Mother’s Day. I’ve never called. Never wrote a letter. Never took her on a trip or sent her a card. But I’ll always give her flowers. Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day, mom 💛🕊️

Ya boy has been busy already this year. I’m so happy to be able to share my love for Black history through my work - it’s truly American history and deserves to be honored appropriately.

Someone stopped Schubert and I on our “daddy’s-off-midday-stroll”, asking how much I’d sell my puppy for.
I told her he’s 7. She drove off. 😂😂
We’re grandpas over here. 🐕🦺👴🏾
I used to be really self-conscious about my voice. Every time someone misgendered me, kids picked on me in middle school, it hurt. But then I found out this voice is a gift! You can’t get me to shut up now.
@realnikohouse
Not true. b 1992 & I know every word. The moniker “Negro National Anthem” (later Black Nat’l Anthem) was fixed to the song by the NAACP as part in the Civil Rights Era. It wasn’t voted, much like SSB. It’s not meant to speak for all, but meant to advocate for all Colored People.

Thank you. If anything, we’re working hard to uphold the standard we’ve earned so that we continue to be who we’ve been. Our only “competition” has been ourselves. No one asks Harvard to step aside so Yale can shine…

I dont live in or have ties to Chicago, so your assumption is incorrect, mate.
While I appreciate your copy/paste skills this says nothing about the trend I mentioned.
