Gender Dysphoria is just a new name for Gender Identity Disorder (DSM IV), which is still the name used in the ICD. Going through your account, however, I see youre allergic to literal facts.

@Jaceriley393 @captmorbid @curiouscontempo @_celia_bedelia_ @DrainBammag If you look up the ICD 9 and 10 codes, they still use Gender Identity Disorder, actually. The DSM V uses Gender Dysphoria. Still, transsexual is a descriptor for someone diagnosed with GID or GD.

@Jaceriley393 @captmorbid @curiouscontempo @_celia_bedelia_ @DrainBammag Maybe its the people you talk to but ive not met a single person where I live in Ohio say transsexual unless im in rural areas with someone over the age of 45. Most people say "trans" or "transgender".
