@MiaCaporale25 Yes, preliminarily, it came in as a 4.1, then reassessed to 3.8. Often times, the first number to come out gets revised.

For context, a 3.8-magnitude quake is 63-times bigger than a 2.0, and releases over 500-times more energy than a 2.0. The magnitude scale is logarithmic, meaning intensity ramps up very quickly. #WCVB

Have not received any reports of injuries. No aftershocks have been felt. The magnitude has been adjusted to 3.8. The quake was "shallow" (8 miles under the earth's surface), and therefore, the energy was able to travel further from the center. #WCVB
