Apparently it’s not enough to ban the death penalty, we have to ban profiting off it too. That's why we worked w/ CT lawmakers to introduce SB430 to prohibit the manufacture & sale of any drug or medical device for the purpose of executions. Take action:

Being excited about killing people is deeply disturbing. To all the corporations profiting off people in the carceral or immigration system: We're excited to see you disappear and we're working hard to make that a reality.

We are thrilled to see @WisdomWisconsin connecting families with their campaign to make phone and video calls free for people incarcerated in WI. The cost of staying connected should never keep families from being able to speak with their loved ones.

From battling wildfires to making hand sanitizer during COVID, incarcerated people do essential work—without rights, fair pay, or protections. The U.S. still allows slavery under the 13th Amendment. That must change. @sister_warriors @TeenVogue

Biden ran on the promise of ending federal use of private prisons when he was in office—a promise he did not keep. Now Trump plans to expand their use as private prison corporations and investors cash in.

As our Executive Director @biancatylek highlights, private prison corporations are cashing in on Trump's anti-immigrant agenda—again. His EOs are fueling profits for corporations like GEO Group & CoreCivic, prioritizing detention over dignity.
