Going to call it there for 2020 and use the next few weeks to pause and reflect. Been a great trading year despite a lot of global and personal tragedy (which came to the fore for me in August). I'm really reminded by the importance of our mental state.

@IMP_Trader I remember it well. I didn't even have any positions open but my broker, Alpari UK, bit the dust and it took me around 6 months to get my money back. Fortunately it was all protected in segregated accounts.

A quick summary of the last 100 trades (a bit less than 3 months): +10.42% (3.47% per month) Percentage winning days = 81% Percentage winning trades = 78% Average trade risks 0.25% and makes 0.1% I know this flies in the face of the accepted logic but it works for me.

You don't need 20 monitors to trade well. You don't need 10 different indicators to trade well. You don't need 7 different strategies to trade well. All you need is 1 laptop, 1 proven system, and 1 unshakeable iron mindset. That's it.

@phantom_ict Completely agree. Also, when I mention 2% a month to people I can often see the disappointment in their eyes! Of course, if you pair that with a decent sized funded account it can become life changing......something to think about!

Generating just $100 daily through trading possesses the potential to transform your life. With 20 trading days in a month, that sums up to $2,000 monthly. This equates to a significant annual total of $24,000—undeniably life-changing.

Burning bridges and quitting your job is misguided counsel. I know because I did it twice! If you trade from a state of financial strain, fear will dominate. The very thing you dread (financial loss) will draw near. Prioritize financial stability before delving into trading.
