@letonyo Nice result! But I disagree with you about the "that's for the experimentalists" part. If theoreticians study it, one may find a better way of achieving squeezed states with less resources.

@fgrosshans @letonyo I agree it's of a different nature, but in more ares/circles it becomes socially acceptable to knowingly behave in this way. If it's due to the internal biases you mention (which I agree also exist) then that's different, although still bad.

@fgrosshans @letonyo The corruption goes both ways though: It's unfortunately common for people to decide what to cite based on social relationships as opposed to scientific merit or relevance (for example in the quantum thermo community).

@QuantumChubb @felix_led @letonyo @earltcampbell I'd prefer to have this conversation via email because I'm worried that if we discuss politics here the algorithm will show me more political stuff. I'm here for science and a few other things.

@QuantumChubb @felix_led @letonyo @earltcampbell Could be, I didn't see any CN before Elon took it over. Now I've seen a few.

@letonyo @earltcampbell I only marginally feel that I see things less related to science that I did before Elon took it over. My understanding is that it's more transparent now than before too, from what I read. I hope scientists stay
