@BYNDmetropolis Personally I lean towards the spec crate engine idea. The future of the auto industry is an uncertain once, and is very likely headed a direction that isn’t appealing to the fans.

@BYNDmetropolis Now on the other hand, I agree, I do like the idea letting manufacturers running whatever unique engine they want to run. The problem is that NASCAR suit and ties can’t handle that concept. They’ve never been able to handle that, ever since the hemi days in the 70’s.

The fans don’t care if the cup cars use technology that mimic modern day OEM technology. Just use body panels that make the cars appear OEM and let everything else be a traditional stock car. This is the solution.

@BYNDmetropolis I think they should run a Cadillac body. The corvette and Camaro don’t make any sense.
