We invite you for a live chat with @sanjukta on Women News YouTube channel. Let's see if you can face a feminist, say the same thing live on camera and present your arguments for ending women empowerment debate by denying jobs to women. Let us know if you have the guts.

When you employ a man, you don't just feed one mouth but two, considering he marries an unemployed woman. But when you employ a woman you only feed one mouth because women will never marry an unemployed man. Let this sink in and let this close all the women empowerment debates.

Every random person these days are telling us what feminism is all about without having any knowledge of feminist theory or Women Studies (WS). The techies, MBAs are so ignorant they don't even know WS is a subject you can study. We have to make one video on this.

Mainstream media has failed the women. They do not question those in power unless there is Hindu-Muslim, Dalit-UC, BJP-Cong angle. But Women News will hold those in power responsible and seek answers. We will keep calling WCD and NCW asking what have they done in their tenure?

Creation of patriarchy happened when humans started agriculture. Concept of property, my land, my crop emerged. Fruits of my labour should go to my children but how to be sure who are my children? By controlling woman's movement, keeping her inside under watch all time.

@AbhilashaPurwar @Aryan90007319 @WomenNewsIN Patriarchy have to be seen historically. Women have been treated violently. Patriarchy just gave them a protection from invaders etc. The feeling of being caged is individual. However women can work in most sector. To say it's animosity will be going a bit too much. Love exists.

RSS-BJP is a patriarchal hegemonic party which worships masculine power, authority, dominance, fear, violence as ideals. Women don't fit in BJP's imagination of the public face of nation. Public space is for men and women's place is at home as care givers, nurturers.

Once in a while when men take care of the babies, society will call it "baby sitting" "pitching in" "contributing to household work" while women do it as their gender roles 24×7×365×entire life. Women need liberation from gender roles NOW.

Dear ⁦ @IndianExpress ⁩ looking after your own child is NOT babysitting. For crying out loud, if a women athlete were looking after her child for most of the day, would you be writing this headline?

Everyday RW claims to be better than Muslims. They claim women have no rights in Islam. Hinduism is better cos we worship women as Goddess. So, naturally, when a #UjjainHorror happens, we point out the hypocrisy. And suddenly RW hides behind, "why not talking about Muslims"?

Woman in Raj stripped naked and paraded allegedly by husband and in-laws. That's the headline. Media and public will add that it's because she had an affair. But "why" is not relevant. Husband/in-laws/parents - nobody has a right to attack a woman for any of her "wrongs".

BJP has been most vocally against #WomenReservationBill . Leaders like @myogiadityanath , @amitmalviya @Tejasvi_Surya have publicly spoken against it. But now they want to take full credits. Meanwhile, nobody shown as much support and commitment as @INCIndia and @RahulGandhi .

Kajal Hindustani got arrested for anti-Muslim hate speeches. Looks like she is out on bail. Politically ambitious women of right-wing give hate speeches as a political gig, and then carry on like any other modern urban person. Not bad actually. It's a career choice.

Feminism faces strong backlash from right-wing. They deny there is anything called patriarchy or blame it on "invasion" aka Muslims. Patriarchy started at dawn of civilization long before any invasion. It's about men controlling women's reproductive potential, to control property

Apart from the biological fact that male and female species have sex to reproduce, everything else - heterosexual love, marriage, family, monogamy are human constructs. For thousands of years society indoctrinated/violently forced children to follow them.

Indian high rises do not have laundromats. Why? Cos it's assumed that every home has a woman (wife/domestic help) who will do it, either by machine or manually, put it out in sun, pick, fold etc. Gender perspectives aren't included in #architecture .

I’m equally sure that no laundromat would have been provided at this matchbox housing in the middle of our beautiful delhi for so many apartments. Built for babus, built by babus. How can we ever progress with this mindset.
