@WolvesGotNext Rumor is A&L are looking at the Farmers Market site with hopes to expand a new entertainment district around the new arena. If you look at the map, plenty of space to do that and have access to 94. This was also the site the soccer stadium was supposed to be built.

On this date (April 10th) in 1958 John Kundla resigned as Head Coach of the Minneapolis Lakers. His teams won six league championships, one in the NBL, one in the BAA, and four in the NBA. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. After leaving the Lakers Kundla coached at the University of Minnesota for ten seasons and made history as he was the first Gophers coach to give scholarships to African-American players. After retiring from coaching, Kundla remained a physical education professor until retiring from the U of M in 1981. Kundla settled in Robbinsdale, MN and enjoyed watching Gophers, Timberwolves and Lakers games. After the Los Angeles Lakers won their 2002 championship, Kundla was awarded a championship ring along with other living Minneapolis Lakers players at a ceremony at the Staples Center. Kundla had two grandsons who played Division 1 basketball Isaiah Dahlman at Michigan State and Noah Dahlaman who played at Wofford. Kundla turned 100 in July 2016 and died on July 23, 2017, twenty days after his 101st birthday. In 1996, Kundla was voted as one of the 10 greatest coaches in the history of the NBA.

Happy Birthday to high school basketball legend - and kinda former Gopher - Royce White. White was the 2009 Minnesota Mr. Basketball and a two-time Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) championship team member, one with DeLaSalle and one with Hopkins. @Highway_30 was highly recruited coming out of high school and chose Minnesota with a talented class; Trevor Mbake and Rodney Williams Jr, Tubby Smith's first full class. White got into some issues on campus and later transferred to Iowa State where he averaged 13.4 ppg and was named an honorable mention Associated Press All-American. He entered the 2012 NBA Draft and was chosen 16th overall by the Houston Rockets and former Gopher alum Kevin McHale. But White's issues with anxiety and fear of flying derailed his NBA career before it even started. Two years later he signed a 10-day contract with the Sacramento Kings and only appeared in three NBA games and accumulated no statistics. Royce tried his hand at the BIG3, fought in one MMA fight and lost and ran for the Republican nomination in 2022 for the House seat of Minnesota's 5th congressional district, which is currently represented by Ilhan Omar. White lost the Republican primary to Cicely Davis. On August 16, 2023, White announced, via Twitter, that he would be running for the U.S. Senate in 2024 as a Republican. The New York Post referred to White as "a far-right populist," who has "embraced conspiracy theories ranging from the integrity of the 2020 presidential election to satanic influences in the federal government.

So we apologize about the lack of content from this account this season, about a month into the season we got a cease and desist letter from a former Timberwolves player we highlighted. We were finally given the "all clear" to post again. We are sad to miss out on a such a record breaking Wolves season, but hey...playoffs are here now. Denver tonight. Let's keep this howling. Go Wolves!

@JonKrawczynski @JaceFrederick If they manufacture more than 10 classic jerseys at a time, Ant would be in the Top 15 easy. But the supply isn’t there to meet the demand.
