I’ve always loved computers that’s why I chose Software Engineering. A while ago, I was building an AI model that could change the world. I had the data, the code, the vision… but there was one problem. 🚫 I couldn’t get a GPU. 💰 AWS wanted $20,000/month (way over budget). ⏳ Nvidia’s H100s? Sold out for months. 💸 Even used GPUs on eBay were getting scalped for crazy prices. Meanwhile, massive data centers had GPUs sitting there, unused. It’s not a shortage. It’s a monopoly. And that’s exactly why @gpunet is stepping in. 🧵👇
