Surfaces behaving really well here at present....lots of investment & good cultural practices completed annually now. The comment being expressed by golfers often now is... "Why you ripping them up in a few weeks, they are great" To make great greens greater is the answer 😃

Always horrible to see any form of vandalism to your own site or anyone else's.... but you realise what a decent industry you are in when local Clubs reach out to send their regards & also offer help/tools! Thanks to @SMGCgreens for the Acu-Seeder lend to speed the process up 🤩

Damp start and with the sand taking longer than hoped for to dry, front 9 is finally done. Nice amount of OM removed along with a decent amount of sand to help continue to dilute the profile and keep us firm and free draining. Some more Front 9 Maintenance tomorrow 👍

Last dry day for a while so some surfaces getting a trim before the wet stuff falls for the rest of the week. Such a shame as it was drying out superbly 😣 Nice cheeky brush to clean up the Fairways too! The Team are keeping the Course in shape ready for our members return.

Monday - Course Status Green. Various surfaces cut, greens getting some plant health with the damp dew & ideal disease conditions around. Areas on Fairways getting some granular to perk up the tired bits. Boring daily tasks undertaken too 🤪

Pathway maintenance continues..... We are focusing on intrusive works while our members are sadly away 😕, so they can enjoy uninterrupted golf when Government restrictions are lifted soon 🤞😁

Nice dry mow on the greens to help reduce last week's sand dressing come back to the surface. Last application of @GBRTechAmenity Endew to give us a chance of working the greens in the mornings harder with less dew. Can't wait to see all our members 2 weeks today 😁🥳

Some Mowing, Greens getting a feed before the hammering they will be getting from golfs return Monday 🤩 bunker TLC continued, 7th getting another spike to punch some sand into the profile and the daily bird pecking damage repaired while they search for Leatherjacket grubs 🤬

Saturday - Thats a wrap for Week 1 of Course Maintenance. Front 9 greens slightly ahead of the back 9 due to weather conditions being a hindrance. Some dry operations to them next week to ensure as much of that 100t of sand stays in them & not on them! Very pleased overall 😃

Nice to tick this project off the Winter work list. Couple of days levelling a few of our worst and most problematic Tees and just over 300 rolls of green stuff. Tee tops increased in size too 👍 Amazed too... we only had one person say "You can do my lawn next" 🤪
