We have been rocked this weekend by the tragic news of the passing of Henry Foster, a young man whose smile lit up a room and who meant so much to so many. He will be sorely missed and our thoughts and prayers are with Sean, Jo, Fran and Hallie at this terribly sad time.
A really classy gesture by
@MillfieldRugby
Old Boys Henry and Pat, who interrupted their 3 Peaks walk to leave memorabilia at Henry’s memorial and reminisce about the times they faced each other on the pitch. Thanks gents and good luck with the rest of the walk.
Tomorrow will be the last time some of our pupils pull on the famous brown jersey for

At the end of an incredibly difficult week, those playing will be doing so for someone very special.

Huge congratulations to Sam who has been awarded a brown blazer for all round excellence on the back of his outstanding contribution to academia, music and sport over the years.
Top effort from the boys to retain the House Rugby Cup with a hard fought 15-12 win over School House! A high quality, physical game played in great spirit. Well done both sides.
We are still looking for a few more OS to play in the Henry Foster memorial match vs the Anti-Assassins on Sunday. It would be great to have some more Old Winderians involved so please do get in touch if you are available. Kick-off is at 2.30 p.m.
Our thoughts are with the Foster family on this most difficult of days. Here is a copy of the service booklet for anyone tuning into tonight’s service 💜💜
We wish Old Boys Sean Brogan and Harry Woods the best of luck as they set out tomorrow to run 8 marathons in 7 days in memory of their friend and fellow Winderian Henry Foster. Please follow the link below to support the cause.

Congratulations to G on his superb playing of the Last Post & Reveille over the past 2 days and also on the award of his CCF colours. We're loving the purple mouthpiece!
Congratulations and good luck to these 6 Winderians who received their 1st XV jerseys this evening and will start in the opening fixture against Whitgift on Sunday.
What a pleasure to welcome our new year 9’s to the House today. The usual ascent of Winder has taken place followed by tea and games with the prefects!
We are very proud of Marcus who was chosen, in his role as senior cadet in Lancashire, to help escort 5 WW2 veterans to Normandy to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Dday. We spotted him on NW tonight, in his House hoody of course!
Jack is currently taking on the ‘Frog Graham Round’ a demanding challenge which involves not just running 40km across Lakeland fells but also swimming across 4 lakes on the way! He has one leg to go, keep going Jack!
It has been fantastic to welcome our new year 9 to the House today. They have enjoyed a welcome tea, a walk up Winder in glorious sunshine, pizza, garden games and toasted marshmallows - what’s not to like?!
Congratulations to Fin on the award of his rugby colours after an impressive start to the season. We forward to seeing to seeing him back in action soon!
Great to have a strong representation in this year’s 1st XV. Congratulations and best of luck tomorrow to Fin, Jack, Louie, Tatenda, Ollie, Leo and Tom.
