Congratulations to the WFS wrestling team for setting the record for the most wins in a season and capturing the DISC Championship! The 2024-25 Quakers won 14 matches this winter, besting the previous mark set by the 2000-01 team (12 wins).
The WFS wrestling team won the 2025 DISC Tournament on Saturday!

Poole earned two individual golds (200 IM, 100 back), another gold in the 400 free relay, and a silver in the 200 medley relay. Conner Verbanas ’25 also secured two individual golds (200 and 500 free).

The WFS girls' basketball team defeated Tower Hill on Friday, 52-45! Ryan Weigand ’26 led all scorers with 23 points, while Gianna Cottone ’26 added 16.

Players were nominated by their coaches throughout the 2024 season and were evaluated based on the following criteria: academics, community service, and football performance. Ryan will continue his football career at Harvard University. Great work, Ryan!

The WFS girls' basketball team picked up another big win on Tuesday, defeating Archmere Academy 51-44! Gianna Cottone ’26 scored a game-high 26 points, while Ryan Weigand ’26 and Izzy Winchell ’26 each added eight.

With his win at the Canal Classic in January, Sloan Makoujy ’26 broke the all-time wins record for a WFS wrestler. And with his latest victories over the weekend and Monday afternoon, Sloan has now tallied 127 career victories on the mat.
