WHAT DOES "WOKE" MEAN? I see a lot of pundits, news anchors and know-it-alls claim to have the formula, but when pushed can present nothing but examples based on their own personal take. So then, let me make it clear: Woke means Cultural Marxism. It used to mean " recognise that I am oppressed" and was a shorthand for people to explain to each other that they could understand each other. That was a hundred years ago. Now, it has become a parody of exactly that. Modern "Wokeness" represents the effort by certain people and/or bodies, both corporate and governmental to assign a 'class' status to various different identities, be they based on race, sex, sexuality or any other defining factors. The Marxism comes into play when evaluating these new 'cultural' classes, as the Marxist authoritarian puppeteer will seek to pit them all against each other for the betterment of the ongoing effort to conquer them all. There is a hierarchy of supposed victimhood, where TQ+ non-white trans women have been arbitrarily positioned at the top rank and heterosexual white males at the bottom. By these binary opposites should you be able to figure out the rest. This exact measure is wokeness. Championing or defending it is wokeness. When it encroaches into your escapist media, that is wokeness. Whenever ONE group is placed above all the others it is wokeness, as well as one of many other prejudices: racism, sexism, phobia of one sexuality or the other. And let me make it clear, neither the existence of any of these characteristics or identities, whether as a result of nature or mental illness, social conditioning or whatever, nor their organic or artistic portrayal, when not obviously being used to boost one over the other, is wokeness.
