Exactly! Even though they are regular and not development as most they do still wield mystical energy. It would be easily for them to access it too. Storm doesn’t show it but she has been called temporal in the past. The linchpin of the timelines should have some temporal force. A techno virus became conscious and sentient due to Storm temporal forces.

Everyone here has some kinda of magic ability even if they haven’t developed it yet. There are endless forces of magic. They just represent the pinnacle of Earth’s mystic force. M-Day happened because of life force. Storm on the other hand going by what the writer said very being is intertwined with the fabrics of the timeline itself. I don’t think it means much there are ordinary people who are Nexus beings and the Writer confirmed an ordinary person could the center point of a timeline.
